Ethan turned 1!!!!

This was my absolute favorite picture. He is going all in!! What a wonderful year this has been. It went by way too fast! Ethan has been nothing but a joy for all of us. Yesterday we had his birthday celebration. My brother Bob and his family were able to come. Also My MIL, Ronalee and BIL Kasey. It was so much fun to have them all there to share this fun day.
We wanted to get in some good food before the cake. Ethan loves tomatoes. Once he saw the lit candle on his cake, he started blowing. He was so excited.
He was so excited to eat this cake. (First picture shows it all) :) Ethan grabbed right into the cake and would squish it through his fingers. We had cake everywhere. He even flung it on the walls and his brothers and sis!

Still eating
He ate the cake almost all gone. I couldn't believe it! He loved every bite.
We had Ethan open presents before the cake and he was getting sleepy and didn't know what to think of all the comotion. He was very sober and not very smiley.
Jason and I got Ethan this cute airplane.
He got a phone from Jaycee and a leapfrog magnetic toy from Bob and Janelle.
Jaycee was so excited about Ethan's birthday. She was the one making sure we did everything right. She wanted a party with all the family. She was there for every step of his special day. She even asked me to let her get him out of bed on his birthday so she could be the first one to wish him Happy BIrthday!!
I fixed up some Navajo Tacos for everyone to share. They were way yummy!!!

Kasey, Jaycee, Jake, Ellie and Kaleb.

I don't know what I would do if we didn't have Ethan. He is such a great baby. He has such a cute personality. Ethan started crawling at 11 months. He just had a doctor appt and he is 27 pounds (95%)and 31.25 inches long (85%). He is a big boy but the doctor said he is just right. Ethan can say, "Daddy", "Da da" , Ba-ba (bottle), uh oh, ccccc ca ca (when he doesn't like something) Everytime you say Poo Poo he will say ccccc ca ca. He always says, "whasat" (whats that) especially when he sees the screen saver of all our pictures on the computer. He says Mom but only when he is crying. He loves Dogs and when he sees them he says. "woof woof" He loves to say. "doo dah" a lot too. Jason has been calling him "doo dah" lately.

Ethan LOVES his Daddy and Mommy. He loves his blankie and bottle. Ethan loves to eat (especially our food). He will share if you say "bite" to him. He loves Elmo. He loves being outside and He LOVES Baths and playing in water.

Ethan is a very good boy. I am so lucky to be blessed with the sweetest kids. He is just as sweet as all of the rest of the kids have been. We love him so much. Happy Birthday to my little E!!!!

Fat Cats

It is becoming a Black family tradition to go to FatCats while we are up North. This year was no different. All the kids were so excited to bowl and play games.
Lia kept saying, "Weisha, wook at my shoes!" She was pretty proud!

Kaleb LOVES to go bowling!
Kasey, Rylee, Kaleb, Nick and Lia

Jake had to bowl with no bumpers so Jas was giving him some tips.

big boy!

Ethan Loved this Elmo ride.
We are so grateful for Kent and Ronalee for insisting on paying for everything. I was so touched by their generosity. We created some wonderful new memories!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Thanksgiving was so much fun. It was probably one of my favorite so far. We all headed up to Kena and Nick's house in Lehi. Jason's parent and little brother along with their new dog, Ruby and Jason and I all were there. Trevor and Sara and girls weren't able to make it. :(Here is Jason with his parents new dog. OH MY GOODNESS, this is a good dog. I don't really care for dog's but Kent and Ronalee love this puppy so much. It was really cute to see them take such good care of her. She really is like their new baby. She was so much fun for all the kids. Ethan especially likes her. Jason has always like Boxers. Maybe someday we can get one after Ronalee figures out the tricks to training them. :) They are doing a great job training her so far.
On Thanksgiving we all had a great time getting everything ready.
Kena and Ronalee are both WONDERFUL cooks. Nick says his wife should open up her own restaurant and name it Kena's Kitchen. Not surprising that she is a good cook when she is the only daughter of ROnalee who is an amazing cook.
We were lucky that Ethan went down for his nap right before we ate!
Jason and Nick were getting hungry and picking at the turkey!!!!!
Picture of Thanksgiving table. Kent is back there somewhere!!
Kids were having a great time on their own table with cute placemats A. Kena had them color.

The cooks (and me) I did make the pies though!

Kena had the kids all make these turkeys too. They all turned out so cute!
Jaycee and Rylee- little beauties
Ethan loves Grandpa and Jake (below)
Thank you Nick and Kena for the wonderful weekend at your place. I am sure Kena had to clean for a week to get her place back to normal! It is so nice to spend the weekend with Jason's family. We all laughed, ate and made some great new memories. I am so happy to be a part of this family! We all had such a great time. Thank you to Kent and Ronalee for helping us get up there and spoiling us to death with movies, drinks and of course FAT CATS!!!

Halloween 2010

Jake decided not to dress up this year so he just came along for the fun of it.
