New Blogger

I was so excited to see my cousin who lives in Abu Daubi (which is in Saudi Arabia I think) started a blog. I haven't seen Kristin in a long time so I am so happy to be able to see her family grow. She is expecting on November 8th. Her blog is www.krisandco.blogspot.com . She has a recipe posted that looks so good. Also another great news is that my sister Annalee finally posted something on her blog. So....check her out too. www.bergesonblog.blogspot.com She has some cute pictures of her family. Her journaling isn't too long but all that know her know that is how she is. She and I are opposite in that category. But she is way better than me in so many things. I think I waste too much time talking and not enough time doing. My blog family tree is growing. YEAH!!!! What did I do before the blog? My life was meaningless. ha ha ha.

Jaycee and Kaleb

I thought this picture my sister took of Jaycee and Kaleb was so cute. This shows how much they love each other. They are really good friends. They are so much fun to watch when they play together. I don't know what I would do without my kiddies.

Little Dorothy's

Look how cute!!!!! My Mom decided it would be fun to make all her granddaughters a Dorothy dress from The Wizard of Oz. We dressed them up and took them to Dixie High's production of it. It was really fun. (Dixie has the best plays!!!) All the students in the play made a big fuss over the little Dorothy's. They took a picture for the yearbook. ha ha ha. The girls had so much fun together. I will name the little girls left to right. Jaycee (my little girl), Kaylee who is Annalee's, Ellie is Bob's 2nd to youngest, Brynlee and Kambria are Brian's little ones, and Bob's littlest, Aspen. They were so cute and excited. After the play we went to the new park by the library in St. George. It was really neat there. You should all check it out. It is a place to go when it isn't cold though. There is water the kids can get in. Luckily we went when it was 80 degrees. Not too bad. This summer it will be packed. I also went to Pine Valley and spent time with my Mom and Sister in law Aletha (Brian's wife). We had such a good time visiting. I especially enjoyed my little nephew, Gavin who is 5 months old. He is so cuddily. I can't wait for Kena to have her baby so I can hold her and love her. I miss having a baby.
Speaking of my baby, Kaleb thought he should get this Tiger costume on so he could be the Cowardly Lion. It is like 2 sizes too small for him. He didn't care though. He just wanted to be part of the party.

Camping at Paragunah - Deer Hunt *****Animal lovers beware of yucky photos!

It isn't letting me write under the pictures so... Top is Kaleb, Jaycee, Jaydon, Ellie, Jake and Kayla. (My kids and my bro. Bob's kids) Yes, they are holding actual feet of deer or hooves or whatever you call them. Jaycee touching the eyeball of the deer on the bottom and Kaleb and Jaycee cheesin it for me. Sorry to gross anyone out. It was so funny.

Okay, viewers beware. My sister in law and brother in law both got 3 point deer this weekend. The kids loved every minute of it. I got a video to show but decided it is too goory for my blog. Bob, my brother cut off the hooves of the two deer and the kids thought it was the best thing ever. YUCK! The worst part was when I went to clean the trailer and there was a deer foot in the drawer. Wow, that was crazy. Scared me for a second but it is gone now. We had a great time. A few little snow flakes fell on the ground last night. That was fun to see after this hot summer. I had so much fun with my kids, husband and neices and nephews whom I love sooooooo much. Taylor, Annalee's boy, fell off a four wheeler and had to get stitches on his leg right below the knee. Whoops. He is doing really good though. Hope you all had a good weekend too.

We are going Camping!!!!!

I am so excited. These pictures are from the last time we went camping in Enterprise about 7 months ago or so. I don't remember when it was but it seems like forever. I love to go camping with my family sooooooo much. It is one of my favorite things ever. Especially in a trailer that has a bathroom, shower and a heater. I know, I know some don't consider that camping, but to me it is. I love it that way. I will have to take some pictures to show our new trip this weekend. I can't wait. We are going with my brothers, Bob and Brian, along with my sister Annalee and all their families. It is going to be the best. I can't wait for dutch oven potatoes and smores. Yummmy! This last trip, Bob caught a snake, which almost every time we go camping he catches something gross. The kids love it though. Here are some pictures of the snake......
Above is Jake with the snake. He loved every minute of it.
Below is my nephew Christian. He is easy at making friends. I love that kid.
Jaycee and Ellie (Bob's little girl). Jaycee wanted to be in a picture with the snake but not hold the snake. Ellie loves little creatures.

Here is Kaleb holding the snake. Can you believe it? I am freaked out of snakes. Here he is just saying, "Cheese". He does look a little hesitant though. ha ha ha

Cute headbands and tutu's for girls.

Okay girls. This picture I know is adorable. She is my niece Kambria. She is my brother Brian's middle child. I am a proud aunt. But also a proud sister in law. Brian's wife, Aletha, who is so cute and wonderful has made these cute tutu's and matching headbands for little girls. There are all sorts of colors. She made all the little girls some for Christmas last year and they love them. Anyway, I just talked to Aletha and I wanted to let everyone know that they are on sale. Check them out on her website: www.petalsandpolkadots.com If you like the product and want to order just email her and tell her you know and love me and I am sure she will give you a killer deal. Let everyone know. Aletha is such a wonderful mom and person. She deserves the success. You should see the Halloween costumes she has made her girls the past few years. They are so cute. I will have to get her to send me some pictures. She is so talented. The girls were Chickens one year and you would have died if you saw them.

Things are going pretty good here in the Black household. I am really enjoying the kids being out of school. We went to the park with my cousin yesterday and went to the cheap movie with her too. I loved it. Today we are just relaxing. Jaycee and Kaleb are watching TV and Jake went to work with his Dad today. I love it when Jason can take the kids. They enjoy being with him so much.

I am officially shopping for a new car. We got rid of the car I had. We want to get out of debt and have no payments. If any of you know of anyone who knows anyone who has a car or minivan for a sweet price (I am talking $1500 or less) let me know. I may be driving a big honkin van with miniblinds in it. ha ha ha Not really cuz I want good gas mileage too. That is important when you live clear out in the middle of nowhere. ha ha ha (Washington Fields) Okay I have been spoiled the past 20 years living in the middle of town.

Have a good day!

Another blog to mention some important events

Hi there!!! I have had a couple fun things go on this past week. The first exciting thing is the Jason's Grandparents finished their mission and returned home on Saturday. We met them at the airport and it was so good to see them. I forgot my camera so I didn't get any pictures darn it. I need to be better about pictures. Especially now that I have this blog. I don't want it all to be my writing, even though those who know me know I could go on and on and on. Grandma and Grandpa Cox had their homecoming on Sunday. They were so cute in their talks. They are the most humble, giving, loving wonderful people I have EVER MET in my life!!!! No kidding. They treat me like I am one of their own. I love them.

Sunday night, Ronalee invited us over for Tacos and lemon cake for Kena's birthday celebration. All you need to know is that Ronalee is the best cook ever!!! I love her taste and style of cooking. Yummy! All the family got together and had a good time. Thanks to Ronalee for the nice evening. Seriously, I hate cooking and always am up for an invite for lunch or dinner. Keep that in mind ya'll!

Monday night we had a get together at Jason's Aunt Jill's home for a little party for Grandma and Grandpa. It was fun to see everyone there. There was cake again!! (Why do I always mention the food? Do I have some sort of addiction?) Hmmmm, I think so! Back to the cake, there were two kinds, carrot and white. Honestly I wanted to try them both but refrained. Seriously, I have witnesses too. The carrot cake is what I chose. My kids chose the white and I didn't even nibble. Serious.

So.... I decided to get my little sister to get a blog together. I actually created the blog for her. Even wrote her "About me" section. We will see how far that goes. I told her that if she has to email me the pics than I will do it. Don't make me do it, Ann!!!!! That is a threat!!! I can be fisty if I want to be. But she knows I am a softy at heart. Only with her would I talk to like that. She is one of my best friends. I love her so much and really look up to her. Literaly, why is it everyone thinks she is the older one? I will never understand. ha ha ha

Okay, last thing, maybe, last night I had girls night out with my girlfriends from my old ward. I loved it so much. We always have a good time. We went to Jenn Wilkinsons and had lots of goodies (food mentioned again). Then we did the color coding of our personalitites. It was fun and interesting. I am a Yellow, White. Yellow is a party animal and performer? hmmmm. Maybe a little. Jason is a White, Red. I am hoping my friends will join the blogging world. I should have mentioned it last night. I will have to email them again and remind them of the importance of it. Holy Cow. How long is this? Well, it is me what else do you expect right?

Happy Birthday Kena

It is Kena's birthday today. She is a wonderful sister in law and friend to me. I don't know what I would do without her. She is always there to listen when I need to talk or watch my kids when I need a break. She also can make some killer brownies when I am feeling down. Happy Birthday Kena!!! We love you. Love, Jason, Aleisha and kids
p.s I tried to find a picture of Kena and I but for some reason I don't have one. I probably didn't want to have a picture of us together because she is so dang cute.
