Okay Dana, here goes:

7 weird or random facts about me...... hmmmm.
1. I grew up on a farm from age 0 to 11. We had cows, chickens, pigs and grew a huge garden. We made our own butter. Had fresh cow's milk. I remember scooping the cream off the milk. I remember making homemade cheese and putting it on crackers. It was yummy.

2. I love to stay up late. I love to watch TV or blog after the kids go to bed. I never get to bed before midnight. I wish I'd be a morning person so I could go to the gym early though. Oh well.

3. I have a hard time taking time for myself. I am working on it though and I am improving.

4. I want two more babies still and I don't know if I'll get them. I am so greatful for my kids I do have. They are the joy in my life. I feel lucky to have two boys and a little girl who I love with all my heart.

5. I love my nieces and nephews and have so much fun playing with them. When we have family reunions, the kids are drawn to Aunt Aleisha because I am a nut and act like one of them.

6. I love to be social and make people laugh.

7. I love to sing and perform. I can't wait to do another play. I dream of the day.

This was fun. It really makes you have to think about who you are. Maybe you learned a little more about me today.

I tag:

1. Kena
2. Allison
3. Zan
4. Mom
5. Annalee
6. Bekee Bundy
7. AnnDee

Prom Tag (redone)

Okay I am just posting the same prom pics that I did but now you can zoom in on them. I saw AnnDee's, Lacy's and Allison's and it was fun to be able to click on them and see people better. I am brand new to the scanner world so it took me a minute to figure out how to do it. Check out Allison, AnnDee and Lacy's blogs to see their prom pics. They are so much fun.

I realize that some of them still don't pull up when you click on them but I cropped them to show them better atleast. Urgh. Don't you hate it when you can't figure stuff out?

Update

So...... what to write. I have been cleaning my house the past few days. I am doing some deep cleaning too. It is so unlike me but I like it. How long will it stay clean? Anyone want to make some bets with me? 2 days?, 5 days? a week tops? To stay on the safe side, I better not.

I have been going to Zumba aerobics class on Tuesday mornings. It is AWESOME. I am friends with the instructor and it is a blast. She said you can burn 600 - 1000 calories per session depending on how into it you get. WOW!! Love that. I have been only 2 times but it is kick butt. I love it. I have been slacking on the gym a bit. Only going 2 days a week or so. URGH!!! Something always comes up. Too bad I am not a morning person. It would be so nice to get up at 6am and get it done. Then there wouldn't be so many distractions.

As far as my diet.... I have been doing really good. I wish the weight would come off faster. I have lost 9 pounds so far. It is good but it all came off in the first couple of weeks and now I am at a stand still. I am glad that I keep going though. I really have felt ready and good about it. One of the really good things that I have done is I am making dinner for my family. I realize how much healthier we eat when I know what goes into the food. Jason is loving that. The kids are eating better too. All around it is good. That is my update so far. I am determined to stick with it and continue until I am healthy again. Yeah!! It is exciting. I am having a good day.
By the way..... Betty Crocker Mini Delights. It is only 150 calories for a molten chocolate cake. Microwave it in 30 seconds and it is warm and fabulous. It is small but it is delicious when I take my time and enjoy every bite. YUMMMMMM....

Have a Mini Delight when your in desperate need of a chocolate treat!!!!!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!

I was so excited to wake up this morning to this:

A huge Teddy Bear, real red tulips and some new slippers with lotions and bath stuff. The best part was the card he wrote with words that brought tears to my eyes.

From my sweet husband asking me to be his Valentine. All who know him know this is a huge deal for him to do this. He just made my day and I wanted the whole world to know how much I love him!!!! Thanks Jason. I'll love you always.

Happy Birthday to Grandpa Cox!!!!

I don't know if Grandpa will ever see this but today is his birthday. I feel so blessed to have been married into his family. They (Grandma and Grandpa) are the most wonderful people you will ever meet. Grandpa is such a kind, quiet, positive and happy person. He is always there to listen and give good advise. He is a giving, humble man who I love so much. He is a devoted Husband, Father and Grandfather. Happy Birthday Grandpa. You are a blessing in our lives.
(This picture is of Ronalee (Jason's Mom) and Grandpa on the day he and Grandma flew home from their mission. It was very windy!!!! It is the only photo I have on my computer. I think it is cute.)

I love playdates!!!!!

Kaleb was very proud of his cookies he decorated.

Thanks to blogging I have made some old and new friends. The last month I have been included in a playgroup with a few of my high school friends. I don't know if they realize how much I needed it but thanks to Dana, Lacy and Alicia for including me. Today we had all the kids make sugar cookies at Alicia's and they were delicious. Thank goodness my kids helped me eat them or I would have ate them all. It is so fun to talk about our lives and struggles or just talk and laugh. I go home refreshed and excited to do better for myself.

House SOLD!!!

This is a tribute to our home we just sold. We are very greatful that it sold but it is a hard thing to say goodbye to all the memories. We just moved all the rest of our stuff out today. It is so sad because it was such a good home. We will miss it. Click on the link below for a virtual tour for any of you that want to remember the place we called home for 4 great years. It wasn't fancy and there was lots of work to do but it was a place I will always remember. All of you who came over and had a bbq or dinner or a birthday party or those who came to play can click on this link for one last reminder of all the good times we had.
P. S. When we left the key in the house and said goodbye, Jaycee cried and gave the house one last kiss.

Look how cute.....

Okay, I totally wish I could photoshop me but I had to put this picture on my blog. My Mom posted it on her blog and I stole it from her. It is a picture of my birthday dinner. I just thought Jason looks sooooooo cute in this picture. Just ignore me and look at him. I love his scruffy face with his hair a little longer and those blue-green eyes. What a babe. Give me a couple more months and I will look good enough to be on his arm.
My Mom made this Snow White dress for Jaycee the other day. She is so amazing. I can't believe how talented she is. She made two more for Brian's girls. Can you believe it? I love my Mom. She always cheers me up when I am down. She always knows what to say. She is a great Mom. She is always busy and accomplishing things. She is a wonderful Grandma. My kids love her so much. That means a lot to me.

Tagged by Lindsay!!! I thought I did the right tag already but it is a little different...

10 years ago: I was 20 years old. I was working at Skywest Airlines in accounts receivable. I would have been getting pregnant with in a year with my first child. Jason had his own lawn maintenance business and we lived in our first little condo we had.

3 of my bad habits:
1-Eating too much.
2-I can't keep my car clean.
3-Procrastinating

Things most people don't know about me:
This is a hard one because most people who know me know everything about me. I am an open book most of the time. That drives my husband crazy cuz he is so private. Hmmmm....... I think Matthew Mcconaughey is hot. Maybe you don't know that about me.

The other things on the tag is in my last tag. I think I will tag Allison Drake cuz she's never been tagged before. There you go Allison. That is how being tagged works!!!!!
