Kaleb's first day of kindergarten!!!

Waiting in line for his first day!

It was so fun seeing Kaleb off to kindergarten! I wasn't as sad as I thought I would be. I am more excited for him than sad for me. Maybe if I wasn't having a baby in less than 4 months, I'd be sad??? I was really only sad to see Jake go to kindergarten. He was the hardest for me to let go. Jaycee and Kaleb went to school, I was happy for them. I know that school is so good for them. It is good for them to learn and make friends and experience new things. Plus I love being there as much as I can helping with the classes!

Kaleb was really nervous for his first day. He really wanted to stay on the "green card" and didn't think he knew how. The cards are a way to discipline the kids. Green is good, Yellow is warning, Orange is time out and Red is Call your parents! We went to the school and luckily got to see Jake at his lunch break. I asked Jake to talk to Kaleb about how to keep on the green card. Jake was really cute with Kaleb and told him to not talk to his friends and be nice and listen. It was a sweet moment. Kaleb came home that day with a huge smile saying, "I stayed on the green card Mom!!" Not that I was surprised but I was happy that he loved his first day so much.

Kaleb - my giant 5 year old.

After I dropped the kids off to school today I took Kaleb for some playtime at McDonalds. Kaleb makes friends very easily anywhere we go. So, there was this little boy there that Kaleb made friends with. He was a little guy so I was curious how old he was. I asked him and he said he is 5. He is the EXACT same age as my Kaleb but Kaleb was HUGE compared to him. He is very tall for his age but this was an opportunity I couldn't pass up to prove it with a picture perfect moment!

Kids first day of school pics / Me, 5 months pregnant

Maybe I'll have some time with the kids in school to start blogging again. I don't know what my problem has been lately. We had a great first day of school. Kaleb starts kindergarten and he had his first meeting with his teacher Mrs. Bastian (aka Ms. Ellett). She is going to be such a cute teacher. I'll post pics of him with her on Monday which is his offical first day. I think he will really enjoy her as a teacher.

Jaycee is in 2nd grade now. She got Mrs. Jolley which I am SO EXCITED about. She was the teacher I wanted Jake to get but he never did. Mrs. Jolley is such a great teacher also. I really got lucky this year. Jaycee is quite the social girl. I know that she will enjoy school this year. Her teacher is going to love her. I asked Jaycee if there are any cute boys and she replied, "No, they are all from Mexican but they all stare at me all day." (She is saying this last part as she rolls her eyes...) She cracks me up because she is such a drama princess.. She had a boyfriend on her first day last year so I was curious. Her Dad is happy that she doesn't like any boys yet... hahaha Jake started 5th grade! He got Mrs. Empey. My BIL Kasey just had her a few years ago and really liked her. Jake was pretty nervous but he ended up going to his old friends house after school and he was really excited to make friends with him again. I can't believe Jake is in 5th grade. This will be the last year that all my kids go to elementry. Jake is looking forward to 6th grade. I remember being so excited to have different classes to break up the day.
5 MONTHS PREGNANT

Here is me at 5 months pregnant... crazy that I only have 4 months left since I'll have him by December 16th. I still need to blog about my ultrasounds. I will get to that later. The ultrasound said I am having a boy with 80% certainty... I am pretty sure it is a boy. We are excited. We still haven't settled on a name. I keep changing my mind because nothing really stands out to me. These are some I am thinking of:

Chase Warren Black- this is the name I have had picked but it just doesn't feel right.

Troy Walter Black- I love Troy but more for a bigger kid and not a baby... Troy Black is cute..

Andrew Cox Black- This is the name Jaycee loves..

Jonah Jason Black- This one, I love but Jason thinks it sounds like a girls name...

Any ideas?? I really like Jonah!

I am getting so excited. I feel him move all the time.

Niece Mikayla's birthday lunch/ Jaycee's hair / Kaleb batman

My niece Mikayla turned 18 on August 5th and we got together at my house and had tacos. She is such a beautiful girl. I am so proud of her and the person she is... This is me, Jaycee and Mikki!

My little girl... love her!

Kenworthy Reunion in Pine Lake

I am finally posting something. We had such a great time at Pine Lake this year.Jaycee, Jason and Kaleb widdeling.
Jaycee and cousin Jaydon

Jake and Gabe

The family - all dressed up... hahaha This is my nephew Gavin. He is holding this horny toad that one of my other nieces caught. While we were in there the kids couldn't leave this poor toad alone. All the sudden one of the kids came and said the toad pooped on them. She handed the toad off to my cousin Trisha. It wasn't peeing on her but her water was breaking or something.... All of the sudden Trisha and I watched this toad give actual birth to a baby horny toad. Sad that it was still born but it was quite the unforgettable experience. Poor Momma toad...

Some more cute pics I stole from Aletha... thanks!
The kids had a blast....
These are some pages my Aunt Barbara made...

The weather was so perfect and it was one of the best years yet. We were lucky we were able to make it this year. Great food and Great company!
