Halloween (dress up) Bunko Night..... hmmmm

Here is our Bunko group. We have lots of fun together. Annalee, cute knee highs. I wish the shoes were showing. Don't you love the broches and purses and Glasses? Thanks to St. George Musical Theater costumes. Annalee and I had so much fun adding to these.
Oh there are the shoes. Annalee's are Gold!! Mine are black slippers. Annalee and I had a blast. We couldn't stop laughing. It was so much fun. We look awfully hilarious.

Annalee and I enjoyed taking each others pictures. This one she took, I about DIED!! Who the heck makes that kind of face??/ What a weird Grandma!! Notice I put my lipstick on way out of the lines.... I have to admit, it was a lot of fun. I haven't dressed up for Halloween in Years. I am glad I did. I am glad Annalee was my partner in crime. It wouldn't have been as fun without her. Love you Anna. You were the CUTEST Granny in the whole world.

Melody and Alicia were so much fun. Everyone called us 4 the Grannies. We got away with lots this night.

Pages from my Mom...

My Mom sent these two pages to me. They are from the activities the kids did with them while I was gone. The kids had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa.

Kaleb's Preschool Halloween party.

Getting ready for the parade and the trunk or treat

Today was fun to watch my little guy have his preschool party. He was so excited. Kaleb is funny because he is always changing his mind about what he wants to be for halloween. Last year he was a ghost for a ward party, spiderman for Halloween morning and shrek for trick or treating. This year he is starting with the ghost again. We'll see if it lasts. He is a good little boy. One party down, one to go.

I am back.

I know some of you are waiting to hear about the trip and want pictures!!!! I am trying to catch up on everything. Jason and I really had a great time. We really needed this trip together. We learned so much and gained even stronger testimonies of Joseph Smith. It was amazing. We have so many pictures to post but I haven't had time to get them done yet. This week is going to be crazy with being in charge of Halloween parties and I have the school Marvin and Jesse play to put together and Bunko night plus Halloween itself. Lots going on. Hopefully I'll get to it soon. Thanks to my Mom and Dad who watched the kids. I didn't worry about them at all. The kids really looked forward to my notes and gifts. I think it was fun for them. It was wonderful. Now I need to get back on my diet..... right after bunko..... and halloween.... and... lol

Here we go.....

I am going to miss these cute little faces. Tonight we are all packed up and ready to leave by 2:30 am. Tonight's goodbye was heartwrenching. Jaycee started crying and it made me cry. Then Jake started crying which made Jason break down. OOOH the pain. I love my kids so much. I will miss them like crazy. I hope they will be able to be happy and have a good time. I am so greatful for such wonderful, beautiful children. I am so greatful for the relationship I share with each one of them.

I decided since I will be gone for 5 days, I'd write them each a letter and a small gift (dollar store) for each of the days. I wanted to keep them looking forward to each day. They have been so excited. I know it is going to be hard but this will be good for Jason and I to be together and share a spiritual experience. It will also be good for the kids to spend time with their Grandpa and Grandma Kenworthy. I love my babies more than anything in the world.

Family Time

Oh I am enjoying having my life back!!! I have really enjoyed www.facebook.com . If you haven't opened an account, do it. I have got in touch with many more friends from High School. I am really enjoying it. A lot of my theater friends are there too. It is a nice, fun way to communicate. I posted all my prom pics on there and I got quite a response. It is so much fun.

Jason and I have been working hard getting the house cleaned. We even cleaned out the garage and all the cupboards in it last night. It feels so good. Tonight we are going through the shed. I have been so good to keep up with the house too. I got a pumpkin candle that I love to burn and I am LOVING the weather. I am just really happy. I love fall. I love the holidays coming too. It is a great time of year.

Jason and I have a trip we are going on for a week. Jason's Grandparents are treating us (Jason's family) to a church history tour in Palmyra, NY. I haven't been very many places so I am really excited. They are paying for everything, even food. Amazing isn't it??? They are wonderful people. I can't believe all they do. We leave in a few days. My parents are staying with our kids at our house and taking care of them. I am going to miss them sooooo much. My kids have never been without me for more than 1 1/2 days. I hope they won't be too sad. I know my parents will take great care of them. One thing about my parents is they are very patient and sensitive. They are cuddly and sweet. That is what my kiddos need while I am gone. They need someone to hug them and cuddle them when they miss me. I know they'll get great care.

I LOVE my Family so much. They mean everything to me.

Halloween Party Ideas????

I am in charge of Jaycee's 1st grade class Halloween party. I wondered if any of you have any good ideas for activities that are not expensive????
I think I'll write a note to go home with parents to see if we can get donations but NO ONE signed the help page in this class but me and 1 other mom. Any suggestions?

Secret Garden is over.

Here I am with Mary. Notice the picture of Lily in the back. The next picture below will show Mary's parents in the picture. They are ghosts. They would appear in all the picture frames at different times in the show. I think my Mom did a great job with the set. It was amazing how cool it looked.
Here is a view of the whole set with all the ghosts in the pictures. Neat!!!
Come spirit, Come charm.

I can't believe it is over. Thank you to those of you who came and saw. It was such a great experience. I made so many friends. Here are a few pictures of the show. I know I am always making funny faces but I had to put up some pictures of it if you missed it. I got a whole CD of pics and there isn't one that I wasn't making somewhat of a funny face. lol

Now, I am going to take a break from theater and spend some quality time with my family and clean the house and do NOTHING.... for a while.

Jaycee and Kaleb loved coming with me to the Theater. Especially Jaycee. This is the green room where they'd hang out with all the cast when they are off stage. We brought coloring books, treats and movies. They loved it.

Here are some pictures from the cast party. Jaycee came and just mingled with everyone. She has made some good friends too. I love that she loves to go with me. Jason was such a good sport to come along. He has been wonderful to support me in this show. I love him and appreciate what he did. I couldn't have done it without his help.

In a journaling mood, I guess.

I just love my blog. I was looking through all my old posts. I have been blogging for 13 months now and I love that I have all that history written down. I would give anything to have this blog 13 years ago when I got married. It is so great to reflect on old times. I actually started a blog for all my kids. If you are interested in seeing them, comment and I'll invite you. It is so cute. Jaycee spells so funny. I am glad that they are starting to journal and they enjoy it. They especially love comments from people. They get excited. Jaycee left me 2 comments on my new pictures post. They are hilarious. Here they are:

October 5, 2008 7:41 PM (Oh I forgot, I love you because you are so nice to me, from Jaycee.)

Today I went to the gym and burned 650 calories. Yeah!! The problem is I am having to fight my brain with all the cravings and food temptations I am thinking 24-7. I am doing good so far but I am so hungry. I need to get my house full of stuff that is good for me. Hopefully I can withstand temptations today. I loved Melanies suggestion on my last post. It would really help to not focus on what I can't have but focus on what my body needs.

I am performing tonight and I only have 3 more performances. CAn you believe it???? I can't believe how fast it has gone by. I perform tonight, Friday night and Saturday matinee. I am going to miss all my new friends that I have made. sniff sniff.

Here we go again....

So, I am sitting here just frusterated with myself. A couple of months ago I felt depressed and sad about who I am but lately, I have been very busy with lots of different things. I am involved with things that fullfill me. I am serving. I feel happy. I am helping at my kids school, my church and I am in theater with so many great people who seem to like me just the way I am. I get compliments from strangers and my friends. I feel accepted, loved. What is wrong with this, you ask? I don't know.

I guess I have to ask myself this question ..... What kind of person is satisfied being this fat??? What kind of person accepts it and doesn't care? I mean obviously if I cared enough, I would do something about it. I have been going to the gymand have felt so much better but I still am the same on the scale. That tells me that I am not eating the right foods. Now, knowing that you'd think I could say no to that cake at the party or the rocky road ice cream in the freezer, nope, not me. Is it weird that I am happy just the way I am? I hate how true that statement is because it says that I might not ever change. It isn't like I don't want to be healthy. I don't want to get bigger and bigger and I have maintained the same weight for over a year. I just don't desire to be perfect or even close. I hate that about me. I will settle for this instead of working for it. I just wish I could give up all those foods that aren't good for me. I wish I could make better choices and not have food run my life for once.

I feel so bad for my sweet husband who deserves a hot and sexy wife!!! I do want to lose weight but then I make bad choices again and again and again. I really DO love this man. What is it going to take for me to turn my love for him into motivation to improve my body for him so he can be happier? I really want another baby too but I am scared that if I lose lots of weight and get pregnant, I'll just gain it all back. Maybe that is just an excuse. What can I do to want it for myself? Any suggestions?

Happy Birthday to Kena!!!

I hope you have a great day!!! You are getting almost as old as me. We love you.
