Today the kids had crazy hair day. Kaleb had a red mow hawk and Jaycee had one spikey hair on top of her hair. It was so funny. Jaycee couldn't even get in the truck because it was so high. She said the kids all called her unicorn. She didn't like that. She authors tell them it is a tv antenna. She said everyone kept touching it and by the middle of the day, her hair fell down.

Volleyball
Jaycee signed up for Volleyball with a few of her friends. I had no idea that she would enjoy it as much as she does. I love to go watch her practice and play her games. She is really good too. She had the most awesome serves. She makes it look effortless. Obviously She is so tall, which is a great advantage. I'm thinking of signing her up for basketball next. She has never tried it but what i love about Jaycee is when she enjoys something..... She will practice and practice and always does her best. I LOVE watching my kids play sports too. It is so much fun.

Jaycee's paper
These kinds of things bring tears to my eyes. This sweet daughter of mine never lets me go unnoticed. I can't believe I can have someone in my life who sees me in this light.
Red lips
This is what Ethan looks like after a mouthful of licorice.
Today he also sneezed and then said "Mom, say bless you Ethan." I replied like he asked. Then he says, "Thank you, momma"
Rodeo time
Jaycee, Kaleb, Ethan and I went to the rodeo this year. We had such a great time. I was surprised that Ethan was so good the whole time. He loved watching the horses.

Jake and Kasey future bachelor pad.
These boys, Kasey and Jake, have decided to build themselves a real house at Cane Beds ...Miniature of course. They are wanting to do two levels. This is just the beginning stages. I'm so excited to see what they learn and accomplish in the process.
Pumpkin
The kids wanted to carve pumpkins for fhe. We got them all carved and then roasted the seeds. We had home made chicken noodle soup. The best part was seeing the kids happy.
Blogger overload
I look back at all my posts on this blog....( over 400 since 2007) and think about all that history I have recorded. I have been on facebook since 2008 I think. I used to blog regularly and then once I was on facebook, my blogging was less and less. I have had so many pictures and status updates that I put on facebook. I decided that I would rather use that time to record history of my current events on this blog instead of facebook. I will be making copies of this blog book for my kids that will pass on for generations. I am a big believer in journaling. This is a fun way of accomplishing just that. I am so excited that I have made this decision. So for now, there will be a overload of blog posts until I get caught up. Then it will be more regulated I hope. My goal is to get a blog book printed by the end of the year.
Yeah visitors!
My big brother Chris came down to stay with us. I was so happy to have him, Carter and Audrey stay for a few nights. My sister in law Julie just had a new baby so she wasnt able to come. :(
Ethan loved playing trains with Carter. They played so good together. Audrey is just a beautiful little sweetheart.
