Jaycee 14th birthday!

Happy Birthday to my Jaycee girl!   She is 14 years old!   She had a pretty special day.   We had a family birthday party.  At the party I surprised her with a video of clips of her growing up and also clips of people in the life and how much they love her.  I was so touched by the response I received.  It turned out way better than I expected.  I love this girl of mine and wouldn't trade her for the world!!

Ethan made this marshmallow guy and has been bringing it around everywhere.  He wanted me to take a picture of him hugging his marshmallow guy.  

Etha LOVeS it when Grandma or Grandpa Black bring Ruby over to play.  Ethan loves dogs and loves to play with Ruby especially.  

I sure love seeing Jaycee and Ethan hugging.  Jaycee loves to watch movies with Ethan and have fun with him.  She is going to be an amazing momma someday!!!

Thanksgiving 2015

We spent the thanksgiving weekend in Pine Valley for Thanksgiving.  Mom and Dad, Us, Cindy, Brian, Bob and families.  It was awesome.  This picture was a classic cousins bonding time picture.  Everyone on cell phones.  

The kids got to play bingo for prizes after the feast.  They all had a blast!

It wouldn't be complete without lots of card games!  Jaycee, Brynlee, grandpa, and Jake! 

One of my kids favorite parts was holding baby Eden.  Jake, Kaleb and Jaycee were smitten with her.  It melted my heart.

Today Jake decided to play some ball with his little brothers.  Jason and I decided to come along to watch.  I was so proud of Jake for being such a good big brother.  

We had a lot of fun until the evening was quickly interrupted after Ethan ran over to Jake while Jake was batting and Ethan accidentally got hit in the head.  He bled pretty good and was pretty nervous about it.  Everything was fine and Ethan was back to normal real quick.  He gets head Injuries way too much.

First snow!

I was hoping there was more snow but Ethan was just as happy as can be.  He went right out to make himself a mini snowman.

After playing in the snow, we all came inside and listened to Jake play some tunes. It was so cold so Jason made us a fire to help us warm up.

I sure love these teenagers.  I am so grateful they still like to hang out with their old Mom!   It was such a fun family night!!!

Halloween!

We've had a busy weekend full of fun Halloween traditions.  We started with a party and parade for Ethan's class. 

You have to love Ethan's cheesy smile.  

Last night we had a great time at our ward trunk or treat and then today we all headed to Cox landing to trick or treat and hang out at Grandma and Grandpa Blacks house.  It's been a tradition every year to get all the cousins together and go trick or treating.

Deer Hunt 2015

We had a great time camping and hunting in Paragonah with Bob, Brian and families.  We had such a great time. It was just what our family needed to get away and remember what matters most. Jaycee shot her first deer!!!

Lunch time at school.

Ethan just loves to eat lunch at the school. He's only in kindergarten so I have to take him in when he wants to go to lunch before school but he thinks it's such a treat. I can't believe how big he's getting.

I am so very blessed to have four children who love me as much as they do. I am not a perfect mom and I feel really lucky that I am surrounded by so much love.  The kids and I always have a joke that wherever I am whether I'm on a small chair or the big couch all the kids come and sit by me even if it's really squished.  I wouldn't have it any other way. This is a picture of everyone sitting by me during conference except Jaycee.  I missing my little girl in this cuddle session.
