Pictures are done!!!

Sorry if you got this post twice. I had to re do the post because I wanted to crop the photos so you can see them closer.

So..... which ones are your favorite??? How can I pick just one? Thanks again, Aletha. I love them.

The little girls putting on a play in Pine Valley

Grandma, Kaleb, Grandpa and Jaydon.
Kaylee, Kambria, Brynlee, Jaycee, Ellie, Aspen.
Kambria, Brynlee, Jaycee, Ellie, Jake
Jaycee is whispering to Brynlee what to say but Brynlee is too shy.
Here they are dancing.

Jaycee has been having so much fun with her Theater class with SGMT. She really loves acting and singing. While we were in Pine Valley this past weekend, she organized a little play with the girl cousins. It was so funny. Jaycee and Kaylee were the only ones who read any parts and the other girls just sat there and watched and looked cute. The skit was about a bunch of witches. Jaycee is starting to really do well with her acting. She gets really quiet with people she doesn't know. She and Jake did a skit with the school yesterday and they both did really good.

Sorry St. George.....

Santa Clara's parade was the BEST!!!

My niece Ellie was in the Santa Clara parade for the Swiss Days so I decided to take the kids. We went to the St. George parade last week and it was nothing compared to this one. I'm sorry to say but the candy is the best part for the kids. St. George parade hardly even threw candy at all and the kids were bored. The kids loved the candy in this one. They threw frisbees and popcicles and all sorts of fun stuff. It was so much fun.
Kaleb had a sleepover with Jaydon and he was sooooo tired at the parade. In this picture is:
Kaleb, Jaycee, Brynlee and Kamria in front. Aspen , Jaydon and Gavin in the back.

Here are the kids watching the Sister missionaries go by.

Jaydon, Jaycee and Kaleb

This was the kids favorite.... star wars guys. They even gave me a high five.

Kambria, Aletha and Gavin. Aren't they cute??? Yes, even you ,Aletha are soooo cute.

Finally, Kaleb gets happy.

Look at all that candy!!!!

After the parade, I took the boys to get a hair cut and Kaleb was falling asleep during the cut. It was so funny. He kept nodding off.

Brian and Aletha and kids came down to see my play. It means so much to me. My brother Bret is coming this weekend and Chris is coming next. I am so lucky to have such a supportive family. It makes me feel so blessed. While they were down I asked my sister in law, Aletha if she could take some pics of the kids over the weekend in Pine Valley. They are so cute. I can't wait till I get them back from her so I can post them. I have been slacking so bad with getting pictures. I just have a hard time spending the money on them. Of course, Aletha does them for free and is really good at it. Thanks Aletha. You are the best SIL. You are so sweet and always so kind. My brother is so lucky to have you. I just know you'd do anything for me with a smile and I'd do the same for you. I am lucky to have such great SIL's.

Jaycee's invention?????

So this was hilarious to me.... Jaycee came in the house and was so excited to show me her INVENTION. This is what it was.....The sign says: Pig pey (pee) and poop.

So I still don't get what it is supposed to do but she has water in the pig and she blows on the straws and then I guess it pees and poops???? Where does she get that kind of idea??? This is something I definately had to blog. ha ha ha

I am a proud Momma!

P.S. I only have 5 shows left. I did get one extra night added. These are the remaining dates that I will be performing on:

Thursday, October 2nd

Friday, October 3rd

Monday, October 6th

Friday, October 10th

Saturday, October 11th matinee.

It has been so much fun. I can't believe it is going by so fast.

So excited.

I can't tell you how excited I am to watch Grey's Anatomy tonight!!! I am so lucky that I am free to actually watch something, finally. Yeah! I love this show.

What shows do you all look forward to? I wish I had DVR. It makes it so hard to get into any shows. I love biggest loser but I haven't been able to see it yet. I don't even get to watch TV during the day hardly. I guess it is good 2 be busy.

Now if I could just start losing some weight.... I have been going to the gym faithfully for 3 weeks now with no loss yet. I've been going for 1 1/2 hrs a day 4 days a week while Kaleb is at preschool. It has to pay off for me eventually right? Patience, patience.....Don't give up, I tell myself. I do feel better.

Jake gets his Wolf Badge - Jaycee in the parade

I am so proud of this boy. He was really excited to get to move onto the Bears. Jake is such a great boy. I just love his sweet little personality. He is really quiet, so not many people know him too well but he and I are very close and he is the greatest helper to me without complaints. Jason, Me and Jake (Jaycee is taking the pics for me, isn't that fun?)
Mom and her boy with her pin on. I look way worse than I thought I did but I had to post this picture because of Jake's face.

Jake and Jason patiently waiting for the pack meeting to start.
Kaleb always wants to do a silly face lately....
I love these kids so much.
Kaleb wanted to wear this cape and pirate patch to the event. Jason was soooo embarrassed. I thought it was hilarious.
Look at this missing teeth smile of Jaycee's

Here is Jaycee walking with her school in the parade. She was so excited. They gave her ice water and two popcicles at the end. I was lucky enough that my HS friend Liesel was there to keep track of her while I sat with my other kids. (Jake didn't want to walk in the parade)

There is more....

I have been really busy lately but I realize that I am happy when I am busy. I don't get so down on myself. I have been doing a lot of things since school started.

First of all I am in The Secret Garden which you all know by now. It has been such a fun experience. Most people don't understand how fullfilling it is to be involved and help a play come together and get satisfaction out of being part of something. I am so grateful for the friends I make. It is so much fun. I found that lots of the people who love theater, love to have fun too. They are so funny. I laugh so much at the Theater. I love it. I can't even explain how it feels to me. I have been involved in Musical Theater since 1988. It is something I have loved for a long time.

I am also the new director for the "Marvin and Jesse" plays at my kids school. They want me to put on one per month. It is a low key skit with very little props and the kids can read out of their scripts. They teach different attitudes and they are funny. The kids love them. Jake and Jaycee are both going to be in it this month. I am excited for them. Jake is really shy so I hope it all turns out. He is not into theater at all but he really wanted to play the wolf in this little skit so I was happy to let him have that experience. Jaycee loves the theater but she is going to play a girl scout who gets her feelings hurt and she has a hard time not smiling and giggling the whole time. It is going to be cute.

I am also helping with a Kids Theater Class (Center stage) for SGMT with my Mom on Mondays. I am trading my help so that Jaycee can attend the Centter stage class too. She loves it. She is going to be in "The Sleeping Beauty for Kids" in December.

You won't believe this but I was also asked to be in a skit for our Relief Society too. We will perform that in October. How funny is that?

For once in my life, my world is surrounded with things that I love and that fulfill me. I am doing all of this in service without pay but I feel so good. I am happier. I am getting to the gym 4 days a week. I am busy and not so focused on food all the time. I hope this is something that can continue. I just wish that Jason could get his business going so he can be happy too. I think it is hard for him to see me happy when he is so miserable. I know he wants me to be happy but I wish we knew how to make it so we both are happy. Jason is going to go fishing this weekend and he loves that. I am always encouraging him to do things like that. He needs to have some enjoyment in his life and not just all work. We'll get there.

I am just so grateful that I can be a Mom. That is the most satisfying of all. I am such a better Mom when I am happy. My kids are everything to me. They make me so proud. Jaycee goes with me to the Theater all the time so she and I have spent lots of time together. Kaleb and I have every afternoon together to play and have one on one. Jake is so much fun to talk to at night. I love to go in his room and talk about his day and his dreams. He is more of a homebody that likes to play his games and be on the computer so I appreciate all the time I get with him. I am so lucky.

Secret Garden poster

I saw this cool poster on the SGMT website and thought I'd post it. Click on it to enlarge and you can see people in the cast. It is so neat.

Costume time for Secret Garden

I don't know what was up with this coloring but I love this picture of my little girl and I.

This picture is crazy like she is choking me or something. ha ha ha

We had our first long Saturday rehearsal. It went from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. It was so much fun. I can't wait to perform on that big stage. We are performing at the Cox Auditoruim. The last time I performed on that stage was in Bad guys of Broadway which was when I was 14 or 15 years old. Isn't that crazy?

Jaycee came along with me to the play practice. I love it that she loves it as much as I do. She is so good. She is so much fun to be with. She just follows me around and tells me how BEAUTIFUL I am. ha ha ha. (I'm not kidding either). She must see my inner beauty or something. he he he. It is hilarious. Right after I sang one of my solos at the practice on Saturday, she came and sat on my lap and whispered this in my ear, and I quote "Mom, you were sooooooo good that you almost BURNED THE HOUSE DOWN!" What?? Where did that come from??? She is so funny. It doesn't matter what I look like, how fat I am or if I mess up on my lines or sing my song weird, she still thinks I am the best. I don't deserve it but it sure makes me feel loved. Here we are on the set. Below is a picture of the set. It is going to be so neat when it is finished.

I am saying, "Okay, Jaycee, that is enough pictures for now." I won't even post the pictures she took of me in the dressing room. SCARY! Don't you love the costume??? I love the hat. It is totally me don't you think???? I love playing Martha. My kids are about sick of the accent. I practice at home and Kaleb especially HATES it.

Kaleb's first day of Preschool.

I am so proud of this little guy. He was so excited for Preschool this year. He was a little nervous when I left him the first day but he didn't cry or anything when I left. I was worried for a minute but when I went to pick him up he said, " I was soooooooooo happy there." He also said, " Everybody knew my name and was my friend." I loved hearing that. I love this little boy so much. He is always so sweet to me. I was kinda sad to see my baby in preschool but I am happy for the opportunity to go to the gym Monday thru Thursday for 1 hr and 45 minutes while he is in pre school. It may just be what I need to help me get the weight off.

Camping at Pine Valley

Jaycee likes to turn the radio on full blast in the trailer and shake her booty.

Jason even had fun on the PV camping trip. WOW ! That is amazing.

Here is Christian, Jake and Gabe. They had so much fun. They were so sad to have to leave camping. Yes, Christian is trying to make a sad face because I just told them we have to go. They weren't too happy about leaving. That is a little better.

Kaleb and Jaydon sure play good together. Who could tell that one of them is 4 and one of them is 6 years old????

Silly faces.

Jaycee and Kaleb playing on this HUGE rock.
What a cute picture.
They love each other so much.
Video games while camping???? Dad must have been involved in that one! he he he
Ellie and Jaycee.

After we were all packed up to go home. We decided the kids and I would ride our bikes down to Grandma's house. We always did this when I was a kid. It is down hill the whole way. Right as we were leaving, Jaycee crashed and banged up her chin pretty bad. We had a little visit to the ER.
Before stitches.

After stitches. She was so brave. She'll get them out on Saturday.

That is it!! I am sorry to overload with pictures but I gotta do it while I have the time I am realizing. We are all doing good. Kaleb started Preschool today. I'll post some pics a little later.
