Update

Thanks to all of you for the uplifting comments. I loved getting the words of encouragement. It really helped. I am doing really good so far. I have lost 4 pounds. All of it is probably water because I have been drinking tons!!!! The bad part is that I have been sick since Friday. Jason had fever and cough on Thursday and Friday. Then I started feeling chills with a fever and cough. Jason and I just rested all weekend. Luckily our kids were so good to take care of us. They were so good for me all weekend. They would just fix themselves sandwiches or cold cereal. Even my 3 year old just played with his toys all weekend at my feet. I am so grateful to have such good kids. Jake and Jaycee have had slight fever today and yesterday so they have stayed home from school just to make sure they are okay. I am going to have to go for a walk today or something to get my energy level back up. I exercised on Friday before I got sick and will be back on track with the gym in the morning. I am feeling a bit depressed. I am sure it will pass. I need to get out and do something because I have been cooped up in the house all weekend. I think that depresses me along with not being able to eat anything good. What would it be like to be addicted to exercise instead of food? That would be the best.

Help me, I am starting my life change....

Well, I just wanted to report that I have been going to the gym this past week. I bought some exercise videos for Jaycee and I to do together and I am excited so far. It is such a struggle. I run errands and all these tempting foods are going through my head. I go to Sprint and I want a big fat piece of bread with butter at Great Harvest. I drive down the boulevard and Cafe Rio is calling my name. Then Sonic and Frostop and I better stop cuz I am getting hungry. he he he. The important thing is that I didn't give in. It has been only 3 days. How long will this be hard for me? Forever? I am seriously ready to make some changes. I hate that I struggle to get up from the couch. I am in real need of everyone knowing where I am so they can support me and know my goals. Anyone who has a pass to Gold's Gym... I will see you there on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 9 and 11. I neeeeeeed you all to keep me company. ha ha ha I am determined to be successful. Now you all know it and I can't disappoint you right? I will report in weekly and I would love your words of encouragement.
Love, Aleisha

Jaycee Singing

Here is another video she made me on my birthday. They are both so funny.

Jaycee singing

Here is Jaycee singing Happy Birthday to me. It is so cute.

I'm 30 now!!!!

I had a great Birthday. Thanks to all of you who called or emailed. I really don't feel weird being 30. It seems really young still. Thanks to Mom and Dad for taking me to Mesquite for all-you-can -eat crab legs. yummy. Mom, Dad, Annalee, Bryce, Aunt Kay, Uncle David (My Mom's sister and her husband) Jason and I all went. It was a great time. Thanks to Kena for babysitting the kids for me so I could enjoy myself even more. Plus Kena made me a pan of her brownies. She was in trouble for it but man they were good.
Then the next morning the kids "surprised me" with a present. They were so excited about it and just knew I'd love it. They made me close my eyes until we got there. Guess what we did? BOWLING!!!! It was really funny how they thought it was the best gift ever. I love my kids. I do love to do anything that makes the kids smile. It was great. After that we took the kids to McDonalds. The greatest part about it was that Jason was with us the whole time. We don't have him around very much. That was my favorite part. Here are some pictures of the bowling experience.

I don't know how to get this underline off. That is how good I am. So, it doesn't end there. Kena's husband, Nick has a birthday on the 22nd and so Kena had all of us over to her house for a birthday party for Nick and I last night. She had taco's and Ronalee's delicious lemon cake. Kena is the greatest. She is probably relieved that it is all over. Thanks everyone. I love you all so much.

I'm 30 now!!!!

How many husbands do this over the weekend?

Who else has a husband that turns this: Into this over the weekend?

Seriously? Jason always amazes me. He still needs to paint it and put the wood on but what an accomplishment he made. He is trying to pick up some lawn maintenance accounts so we can get ahead on the money a little. So... if any of you know someone who is looking for yard care, let me know. Jason would do a great job.

Just another saturday.

I haven't posted anything this past week cuz nothing exciting has really happened. I have been on the computer all week trying to figure out how to sale our junk on ebay and organizing the finances on Quicken. I have gone through my room and the kids' rooms and organized them. So far they are still together. I have exercised once and my goal was to do way more. I am still determined to make this year the best. I will be skinny and financially secure right? ha ha ha.

Jason is doing pretty good. He is working so much still. I feel so alone a lot of the times. I am so grateful for him though. He is amazing. Right now he is in the garage building a flatbed trailer from scratch. Yea, that is normal for Jason. He puts him mind to something and just figures his way through it. I am proud of him. He is always busy doing something. He is either working or sleeping.

Jake got a Xbox 360 for Christmas and loves it. He is so into Video games it is crazy. I have to limit him and he is a good boy to listen. He knows if he whines, he loses it. The threats work when you actually follow through with the consequense.

Jaycee got a V-Tech camera and a singing machine. When I figure out how to put a video on the blog I will show her singing from "Hairspray" . She cracks me up. You would love it.

Kaleb got a train. He has so many trains and will play for hours with them. I will go in his room and he will have 3 sets going at the same time. It is cute.

I went to my Mom and Dad's for New Years Eve. Bob, Janelle and kids were there. We ate navajo tacos and my Mom's yummy homeade Sourdough Bread. It was awesome. The kids played in the snow and I played cards with Mom and Dad. I love my parents. They are always so welcoming to me. I love being there. Thanks to them.

My goals this year are:

Get to church every week.
Get Healthy.
Keep house a little organized. (I don't need to overwhelm myself.)
Fix dinner atleast 4 nights a week. (I hate to cook)
Have positive thoughts and attitude. (Did I say I hate to cook? I meant love. Staying positive.)

I'll just leave it at that. That is enough to keep me to my life full.

2008 so far.....
