Jake took 2nd place in the Pinewood Derby last night. We were so excited. Jason stayed up all night spinning those wheels. It was fun. He gets to go to race in the Scout Expo now. Cool. I am so bummed that I didn't get a picture but my camera is acting like it is dying and is making funny sounds. Bummer.
I also had my nephews, Christian, Gabe and Jaydon and my neice Rylee over last night. We had such a great time. I love it. Rylee was especially getting on my good side. She kept telling me that I am her favorite aunt, that she wished she could sing just like me and that I was beautiful and not fat!!!! ha ha ha. I loved every minute of it. lol. She knows how to get on my good side don't you think? It definately got her a sleep over at my house last night. She was so good and fun to be with.
Jason had to go with his Dad to Page, AZ last night right after the Derby to do some work over the weekend. It is weird to not have him around. I miss him.

Fun in the water.
Look at little missy, the model....
She is so fun.
Kaleb and his bug catcher.
Jake flexing for me. Wow he is buff.
We went to play in the water the other day. It is so nice outside. I am loving it. I have got to take off my sunglasses though. I keep getting burned on my face and having a line under my eye. It is crazy. I officially started on my farmers tan this week. lol
Funny little sayings from Jaycee
I thought I'd share a few funny things Jaycee has said in the past couple of days.
First of all the other day we were in the car and Kaleb said the word "weiner". She looked at him and said, "Bubba, don't say that word cuz it is against the law!!!"
Jaycee usually has gym day at her school on Wednesdays so we have to make sure she isn't wearing sandals or something. So today I reminded her to get her tennis shoes on and she said, "Oh, Mom they don't have gym today because they are going to a lunch meat." (She meant track meet. ha ha ha)

Happy Birthday Bret.

It is also my little brother Bret's birthday. Our family has so many birthdays in March. It is crazy. I found this picture of my Dad getting a perm and it looks so much like Bret. I thought I would post it. I love my little brother. I still call him Bud to this day. He has always been a good friend to me. He is sweet and fun to talk to. I love him sooooooo much too. He never checks my blog so..... I don't think he will even see this. He is a Daddy now and has a adorable little boy. I seriously don't know what I am doing wrong with the pictures but sometimes they click bigger and sometimes they don't. Any suggestions? I have no idea what I am doing.

Happy Birthday MOM!!!!
Today is my Mom's birthday. I looked through all of my scrapbook and I found a couple of fun pictures of my Mom and I. Of course most of them, she is helping me in some way. My Mom is amazing. She has always been there for me. I love it that when I have a bad day, I can call my Mom and she knows just what to say. My Mom has always been one of my best friends. I love the example she is to me. I love how motivated she is. I love what a hard worker she is. She is the best Mom in the whole world.
Here is my Mom and I. We are probably singing The Mother/ Daughter song. I cried everytime we sang that.
Here is My Mom doing my hair for the prom. She always helped me in everything I did.
I liked this page because it shows me and my Mom but it also shows the cute scrapbooking she works hard to do for all of us kids. I love it so much to have a scrapbook. My Mom has 7 kids and that can't be easy. I am so grateful for her.

Happy Birthday to my beautiful sister in law Julie!
I swear I am so lucky because I have the best sister in laws in the whole world. They are all so beautiful and kind. Julie is having a birthday today and I wanted everyone to know how much we love her. She is so perfect for Chris. They are both so gentle and kind. She is so driven and smart. She is beautiful. She is a wonderful Mother. I just love her to pieces. We were all so excited when Chris finally found "the one". She is just the kind of girl we hoped he'd find and more. Happy Birthday Julie. Give Carter kisses for me.Tuesday, March 18, 2008
Middle school hair do.

I told you all that I would eventually post my middle school hair do. You know that one with the bangs crunchy with hairspray blowdried to the side and would catch on fire easily? Yeah that one. Oh man I thought I was so hot.

This picture was funny to see. I will just put first names but most of you who went to high school will know who they are. Back row left to right: me, Garrett, Stephen, Santa and Ronni. Front row: Lindsay F. Dana, Ivy. How many of you remember that I had the biggest crush on Garrett from 5th grade to 8th grade. I probably had this picture hanging in my room for years. Hilarious!!!!
Engagement Pictures & More
Here is for you Zan. I know it is a little delayed but here goes. This is how crazy in love I was...... I graduated high school on Thursday, went thru the temple on Friday and got married on Saturday. Here is a picture of us at my Graduation.
Here is one of our engagment pictures.
This is our invitation to our wedding. Can you believe how young we were? I thought I was so mature. ha ha ha

Here is us on our Wedding Day. It was a wonderful day and I don't regret anything about it.

I thought I'd post a picture of Jason's old yellow toyota. I am sure some of you remember that right? We eventually painted it blue and then sold it to his brother and his brother painted it again. Funny.

I am being positive and happy. I really shouldn't get on my blog in the heat of a moment. Oh well I am an open book, always have been. I thought I'd post some pictures of the
My Vent for the day.
It is just me again. I am sitting here confused and need to vent. Whether I post this or not, I just need to get it off my shoulder. Here is my question? How do you listen to someone say something negative and hurtful and then replay it in your head again and again and not believe it yourself?
We all know that it isn't a secret that I struggle with my weight. I am generally a happy person. I love to serve and be kind and see the positive in everyone. I love, love, love being a Mom. I love playing with my kids. I am not a person who worries about what people are thinking about me. I struggle with putting myself on the to do list. I am always thinking of everyone else. I don't know how to change that. I want to be healthy and look good but I don't desire to be perfect (110 pounds and a boob job). It isn't my number one priority so a lot of the time it gets put off. I don't care if I go to the store without makeup or in my pj's. I am weird I know. What does that say about me? I am not trying to make excuses for myself. I know I need to lose weight to be healthy. I just wish certain people would be more understanding that it isn't as easy for some people.
What is so frusterating is I can go a couple of months and eat really good, exercise and lose 10 pounds and then mess up one day and gain half of it back. I am serious too. It is hard to be perfect all the time. So this past 2 months I have lost and then gained a little and then lost and then gain a little. I am still down 10 pounds as of right now but I am so frusterated. It is like a lose, lose battle for me. I have been journaling what I eat and trying to fit exercising in. I am not about to quit either. I am just letting you all know that I will get healthy!!!! I am determined. I won't quit no matter what anyone says to me. I am doing this for me. I know I could do better and I am going to strive to do my best this week. I went to Zumba this morning and went for a walk but the negative words drag me down. I can't get it out of my head. I really just want to be loved for being me and not what I look like. Everyone has their struggles in life, for me, it is my weight. I know that I will always have to work out and watch what I eat. See..... I already feel better just by writing this.

Happy Birthday Dad
Happy Birthday to my wonderful Dad!!! He is such an amazing Dad and Grandpa. He and I have always been really close. He is always there for me no matter what. I love that I feel so safe when he is around. I know he will always be proud of me no matter what I do or what I look like. He has always been there for me whether I needed a hug or a loaf of bread or someone to eat lunch with. I love my Dad soooooooooo much. I hope you have a great Birthday.
Here is Dad with my kids about 3 1/2 years ago on Halloween.
This is my Dad just last month at a Pine Valley skit they did. The kids just love him. Dad was so funny that night. I slept over at his house and he wouldn't stop talking with a hick accent all night long. He was cracking me up. I was trying to talk about serious stuff and he say with a twang, "Ya'll hear that?"

Memories - kids pics
I thought I'd post these cute pictures of my kids when they were little. I just found them on my computer. They are kinda dark cuz they were taken with my camera phone by the kids themselves except the one of Kaleb as a lion. I just love that picture and had to add it.
Here is Jake and his lightsaber .......................
Here is Jake and Jaycee when he still loved to hug her. Now he thinks girls have cooties and he won't even sit by her. SAD.
Here is little Jaycee. I can't believe how big she has grown.
Then there is Bubba. Oh what a little cutie. They are all still cute but it is fun to look back.
This is Kaleb again (aka Bubba for all of you who don't know) I just love this picture of him. This is when he was 6 months old. So Sweet!!!!

I have had a heck of a time getting back into the groove of things since camping. I feel like I have a real short fuse. I yelled at Kaleb and Jaycee for spilling the whole bag of cheese that I just bought at Costco for $7. I totally lost it. I don't know what is wrong with me but things just keep happening that irritates me. I am usually not like this and I don't know why I am feeling this way. My house needs to be cleaned and I have lost motivation. I feel numb. What is going on? I am stressed about money of course but that is normal. I don't know. It must just be part of being a Mother. I just feel bad for my kids. I am normally so happy and loving and the past few days they are walking on egg shells around me. This too shall pass.
Hello!

Fun, Fun Spring Break Memories
We had such a great time. We went to Sand Hollow Lake. It was really bad weather on Saturday and Sunday and it scared all the people away. Yesterday and today we have the whole place to ourselves practically. I was there with my brother Bob and his family.
The kids mostly played in the sand.
This is Jaydon, Ellie (Bob's kids) and Jaycee. Jaydon is the Merman and Jaycee is the Mermaid. Notice the chest on my little girl?????
Here is Kaleb, turned into a starfish.
And Jake into a giant sandman.
Then there are all the holes they dug to bury themselves in.
Here is Jake up to his neck.
At the end of camping for the 5th day, the kids were all wore out. Even though they were tired..... they still didn't want to go home. This is Jaycee and Kaleb in the truck on the way home tonight. I thought it was so sweet. It is a perfect ending of a perfect camping trip.

Jaycee is doing much better.
To all my friends and fam that have worried about my little girl. Thank you. She was so happy to hear all the comments to her. Her Grandpa Kenworthy brought over balloons and ice cream. (which perked her right up. She loves my Dad!!!) She improved soooo much that next day and now she is doing a lot better. We are still giving her antibiotics and she says her tummy hurts a little still but it is getting better. We are out camping over spring break and we are having a great time. Just wanted to let you all know. Have a great Spring Break. I am loving it. I love being with Jason and the kids with no bedtime and no wake time and just get to play.

Kidney Infection....

She just doesn't feel good. Oh how sad this day has been. My little sweet Jaycee started to complain of stomach ache really bad yesterday about 12 noon. We took her to the doctor and they had us do a blood test and urine culture. Then they called me this morning to tell me to take her right into the emergency room because her white cell blood count was abnormally high. So... we went right over and they had to do a IV to get some antibiotics in her. It was so sad but she was so brave. She has the most beautiful eyes and it just kills me to see her big blue eyes sad. I am so proud of her. She should be all better in a few days.
