Awesome Blog to read

My sister in law told me about this blog. The lady who writes this is an LDS lady. A couple of months ago she lost her little 14 month old baby in a drowning accident. She posts daily and she totally inspires me. I thought I would share this with you all. She is so honest. A couple of days ago she posted about how to help someone who has lost someone close to them and what to say and not to say and what to do for them. I was so interested. I love to read her posts. She amazes me. Read it and tell me what you think.... http://adailyscoop.blogspot.com .

Sound of Music

I went to Sound of Music tonight with Jaycee and we loved it. Mindy was awesome just like everyone said. I really enjoyed every minute of it. Luckily I got to hitch a ride with my Mom and Dad's friend. Thanks Deb! Anyway, if you haven't seen it, you should go.

This week is going to be quite eventful. (Especially without a car) I have play practice and Bunko tomorrow night, Play practice on Wednesday night, Le Miserables on Thursday night (with my hubby and no kids may I mention, hooray) , play practice Friday night and a birthday party to go to on Saturday in Enterprise. I better start calling for some car pools. ha ha ha I am excited because it is good for me to stay busy.
(It keeps me out of the kitchen or wherever food may dwell.)

Looking for an Morning Preschool

Hi everyone!

I have been scrapbooking the last few days. It has been fun. Jaycee likes to do it with me. I give her some pics and she'll scrapbook pages for her book. It is cute.

This week the camera broke, My water heater broke, my car broke down and I am on a diet!!! I know, I know, it CAN ALWAYS get worse. ha ha ha

Back to the real reason I am posting today. ... I am looking for a morning preschool for Kaleb. He is 4 and I have him enrolled in a afternoon one but it won't work with my kids school schedule. Does anyone know of a good Preschool???

Bye Bye Birdie pics

I saw this first picture on a friends blog that was in this show with me. I stole it and thought it would be funny to post here. (Thanks Rachelle) I see some very familiar faces. Two of my friends that went to Mesquite with me in fact. Don't you love little Joe's face in this???? I wish it would pull up closer. The bottom picture I couldn't get to zoom in at all. Sorry. The best part about the top picture is that Rachelle wrote a arrow to point to her and it also points to me so that worked out good. This show was so much fun. Now that I am in Secret Garden, all my theater day memories are coming back. It is so great. This bottom picture is the ONLY picture I have of me in Bye Bye Birdie. I was so happy to see the one on Rachelle's blog. Please send me more!!!!

Camping at Kolob

Our friends talked us into going camping with them this weekend. We went to Kolob and had a great time. I thought I'd share some pictures.

Jaycee, India and Acelyn.

Jaycee just relaxing on the hammock
We found a snake and the kids loved it.
This pic is funny cuz it looks like it is biting Kaleb's nose but it isn't.
Kasey (my bro in law)wasn't sure if he wanted to hold it till after he saw Kaleb do it. Kasey and Jake jumping in.
Here is Jake and Kasey after they decided to jump in the lake.
Then I made them both mohalks!!!
Here is the lake.... it was beautiful.
Here is our camp spot. You can see Jason and Kaleb sitting chatting by the truck.
Jake, Jaycee, Kasey and Acelyn (our friends daughter) She is 4 and has a major crush on Kasey as you can see.
Here is Liz and Pride. Our new friends from the ward. We actually knew them before they moved into the ward though because we went to Dixie High School with them. They are both Jason's age.
Here is my hubby taking all the kids out fishing.

I auditioned!!!

Some of you knew I was auditioning for Secret Garden but I haven't told anyone that I got the part of Martha. I am really excited and nervous too. I did the part of Lily in High School and Martha seems like a fun challenge so that is what I went for. I asked to be double casted so it won't be quite as hard on my family so that is what they did. The show opens on September 18th and closes on October 11. I will post more about it when it gets closer. The cast is AMAZING. I couldn't believe how many good singers and actors there were. My Mom, who is directing, said it was the hardest show to cast because everyone was so good.

Jaycee and I have been watching the video of Dixie High's production of Secret Garden in 1994 when I was Lily. I am just sick when I see how skinny I used to be. How could I let myself gain 100 pounds??? I sure wish I could go back and take care of it when I had only gained 10 pounds or so. Usually bigger people get bugged when smaller girls want to lose some weight to get back to how they feel good, but not me. I am always saying, "Do it now, before it becomes 100 pounds you have to lose!!" My kids see the video of the play I did in High School and say that it doesn't even look like me. I'm saying to them, " It is me, I promise! I used to be somewhat attractive." lol

Also, thanks to all of you who posted a memory. I LOVED READING THEM!!! It really made my day. If you haven't commented on my memory post..... it still isn't too late. he he he I have still been going to the gym everyday but I still haven't lost any weight darn it. I am thinking about Isagenix seriously, when I can get the money to do it.

Love you all!

Memories.....

My good friend Amy did this on her blog and I thought it would be a fun thing to read so here goes.....

1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember! If we're only blogging friends, write about a post that is the most memorable for you.

2. Next, if you feel so inclined, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you leave a memory about me, I'll be sure to write one about you...!

3. If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. ☺ That is a rule - no embarrassing moments that I will never get over.. ha ha ha j/k

Please take some time to help me remember those times that your mind may have retained that mine might not have.

Isagenix Reviews

Has anyone tried Isagenix? My cousin is selling it only because he loved it and it worked really good for him. I have been going to the gym 5 days a week and tried to eat good and I have stayed the same weight. I know it takes time but if I can find something to help me and it is healthy, why not??? What do you think or what have you heard? I want to lose 40 pounds before my trip in October and I am thinking of trying this product to help me but I am always so skeptical. I went online and saw this video on youtube from the news that showed great results. That is a plus. It is sooooo expensive but if it gets me healthy and gives me my life back, it is worth it to me. Anyone know anything?

Girls Mesquite Trip

Oh my goodness, I really had such a great time. I am so glad that I went. Everyone was so nice and genuine. I felt so comfortable. I really was impressed with all the girls who came. Each one has their own fun qualities. When we first met up I just instantly felt loved and at home which was a pleasant surprise. I have always really loved all my girlfriends. We all started this bond in 9th grade (even though some of us went to Elementry together too). We had a fun big group of friends that hung out all the time. It was one of my favorite years. I made some lifetime friends. It was so fun to visit and remember all the fun things we used to do. My favorite part was just talking and laughing in the motel room till who knows when. I just loved every minute of it. Thanks girls for such a great time. I was seriously impressed by everyone of you. You all inspired me or taught me something.
Dana - You are the leader, this never would have happened without you. You are hilarious and kind and there is never a dull moment when you are around.
Lacy - I LOVE to be around you because you always say the funniest things. You are always so nice to everyone. You are strong and amazing Mother and friend.
Lindsay - I appreciated the talks we had. You are still the same sweet, beautiful girl I always remember. Thanks for listening and caring.
Sunnie - You are such a great example. I love just being around you. You make me want to be a better person. You inspire me.
AnnDee - You are solid, strong and dependable. I can tell that you are a devoted Mother and Wife. I have always looked up to you.
Alicia - You are so full of life. I love to look at you because you are beautiful and full of positive and fun energy. I love that you are so positive and happy. You always look at the bright side of things.
Hailey - Even though you don't blog!!! You always had the funnest stories to listen to. I was so glad when you came up to me right at the first and said that you were so glad I came. That meant a lot.
Lacey - I really appreciated all the nice things you say to me on my blog. I loved that you'd take time to tell me that it is okay that I have changed and no one cares what I look like but me .... I felt like no time had past. I love that I never heard you complain (because I always complain). You are amazing.
I really had the best time. Thank you all soooooooooooooo much. I can't wait till next time. Hopefully my stories will all be fun and filled with lots of happy and good. All I can say is right now, I want to be better. You know how sometimes you go out with high school friends and they are all stuck in high school??? All they care about is what they are wearing or their hair... not this group of girls. They are real, genuine friends.

Roadrunners baseball game

I sang the National Anthem tonight at the Roadrunners baseball game. They invited us to stay and watch the game. There is going to be a big fireworks show after. It is 9:45 and so far the kids love it but it is only half over. We'll see if we make it to the end. The weather is quite pleasant tonight.

I am just trying to figure out mobile blogging . This is a test to see if it works. I am posting a picture of Kaleb. It is my phone taking this and Kaleb is always moving so it will probably be blurry.

Happy 4th of July to all!

I would LOVE to sing like this. I saw this video and I had to share it. I have always loved Whitney Houston's voice. There is nothing better than to listen to a voice that gives you chills and makes you feel something. Happy 4th of July to you all. I am so grateful for the troops and all they do for us. I am grateful to live in this wonderful country. I will post pictures of our fun 4th events later. Have a great celebration. Love you all!

I joined

I signed up for a family pass at the Summit Athletic Club. I was a previous member a couple of years ago and I loved it. I went in and decided that I am going to join again. I get 5 free personal training sessions for me and 5 for Jason. I have already completed 2 sessions. It is going to be good because we set goals together and they watch out for me and it makes me more accountable. Also, I can take the kids swimming whenever we want to go. At noon Monday thru Thursday they have a kids fitness classes for kids 5 and over. So today I dropped the kids off and worked out during that hour and then we all went swimming together. I love it there and I am excited to get back into working out regularly. Anyone out there a member already? I always love having a workout partner. But partner or not..... Wish me luck!!!
