Every morning Ethan waits with the kids for the bus to come.

The kids love to play with him while they wait. Ethan loves to watch the bus pull up. He can't take his eyes off the yellow bus till it goes out of sight, down the street.
Jake really enjoys coming home from school earlier than the other kids. He enjoys spending time with Ethan and I.

Kaleb got to go with his Dad hunting for a few hours on Friday night. He and Jaycee got to go along and they thought it was great. I think they look so cute in the camo.
Jaycee went also.

On Saturday I was telling my family that Ethan NEVER falls asleep on anyone. He just stays awake till he goes to bed. Well, I ate my words because not more than 5 minutes after I said that, Ethan was sleeping on my Dad's side. haha

Kaleb got stitches.

Kaleb was trying to cut something open and his hand slipped. He cut his thumb and was bleeding all over. Kaleb was really worried and scared. This is the first time something like this has happened to him. He was nervous that all his blood would fall out. Then he was nervous that he'd have to stay in the hospital for a long time. He is such a sensitive little guy. After we got the stitches he said it wasn't as bad afterall.

The best part was the popcicle the dr. gave him afterwards. Oh and all the attention that battle wound received. :)

Since our trailer is kinda falling apart, we decided to take the kids camping in a tent. I was a little worried about it since I have been spoiled with camping trailers for a lot of years now. I was really happy with how the camping weekend turned out. The kids were so excited. It actually was really fun. It was much cheaper too. I hope we can do that more often. Jaycee being silly. She had to pose for the camera I guess!! haha

Ethan and Dad taking a nap in the tent

This is the first time Ethan played in the dirt. He loved it.
Jason and Jaycee built this camp kitchen this past month. Jake and Kaleb also helped paint it. Jaycee was so excited to help her Dad cook with it.
Here they are, preparing a yummy dutch oven dinner!!

Cheers for hot chocolate!
Ethan loved his little chair.

Ethan got a new Haircut!!

I was brave enough to try and cut my little guys hair. He was actually really good. I stuck him in the sink with a toothbrush and some water running while I did the cutting. It didn't even phase him.

Jaycee has a new found love .... and talent.

Jaycee started being interested in sewing when she found my old sheets bunched up on the floor. She thought it would be a great thing to sew herself a dress with it. Since then she has had a few "private lessons" with an AMAZING SEAMSTRESS!!! Her Grandma!

This is a skirt Jaycee sewed all on her own.

She made this apron for her cousin Rylee too.

During her first private lesson with Grandma... she came home with an apron for herself. An apron for me and a bib for baby Ethan. I LOVE the apron she made me. It is adorable and I use it all the time.

This past weekend Jaycee and Grandma started on her halloween costume. She kept Grandma pretty busy...

You can't be a "PROFESSIONAL" sewing girl without a bunch of pins in your mouth like Grandma does.

I can't wait to see how the costume turns out!

Last get together with Christian and Gabe. :( Love them and miss them
