Since our trailer is kinda falling apart, we decided to take the kids camping in a tent. I was a little worried about it since I have been spoiled with camping trailers for a lot of years now. I was really happy with how the camping weekend turned out. The kids were so excited. It actually was really fun. It was much cheaper too. I hope we can do that more often. Jaycee being silly. She had to pose for the camera I guess!! haha

Ethan and Dad taking a nap in the tent

This is the first time Ethan played in the dirt. He loved it.
Jason and Jaycee built this camp kitchen this past month. Jake and Kaleb also helped paint it. Jaycee was so excited to help her Dad cook with it.
Here they are, preparing a yummy dutch oven dinner!!

Cheers for hot chocolate!
Ethan loved his little chair.

Ethan got a new Haircut!!

I was brave enough to try and cut my little guys hair. He was actually really good. I stuck him in the sink with a toothbrush and some water running while I did the cutting. It didn't even phase him.

Jaycee has a new found love .... and talent.

Jaycee started being interested in sewing when she found my old sheets bunched up on the floor. She thought it would be a great thing to sew herself a dress with it. Since then she has had a few "private lessons" with an AMAZING SEAMSTRESS!!! Her Grandma!

This is a skirt Jaycee sewed all on her own.

She made this apron for her cousin Rylee too.

During her first private lesson with Grandma... she came home with an apron for herself. An apron for me and a bib for baby Ethan. I LOVE the apron she made me. It is adorable and I use it all the time.

This past weekend Jaycee and Grandma started on her halloween costume. She kept Grandma pretty busy...

You can't be a "PROFESSIONAL" sewing girl without a bunch of pins in your mouth like Grandma does.

I can't wait to see how the costume turns out!

Last get together with Christian and Gabe. :( Love them and miss them

Jason finally drew out for the Southern Deer hunt this year. My brother talked us into trading our tag for the black powder hunt. We all stayed at my parents cabin while Bob and Jason went hunting together. Sunday morning Jason came in the cabin to tell us about the deer he shot. We all hurried to get ready so we could go see it. Jaycee and Jaydon

Jaycee packed this heart with her bare hands down the mountain and took it for show and tell the next morning. haha

All of us minus Ethan. My Mom and Dad kept him at the cabin because he is a heavy baby to hike around with.

The two deer. The same

Back to School

So cute!

My Jacob Black

Mom's little buddy

It is VERY quiet in my house this morning. I got up at 5 am, went to the gym to work out. Came home showered and got Jake up and to school by 7:40 and then the other two kids by 9:00. Ethan is already on his first nap right now. I don't even know what to do with myself but a nap sounds nice or maybe a little organizing of the junk drawers???

Jake is at his first day in 6th grade at Tonaquint Intermediate School. This was really weird for me to drop him off and not have to walk him in and get a picture with his teacher. I know that Jake will do great in school. This change will be really good for him but I am not ready for him to grow up that fast. I cannot WAIT to pick him up at 2pm, take him for ice cream and hear ALL ABOUT IT.

Jaycee and Kaleb are both pretty excited for school. Kaleb was much more nervous this morning when we got to school than he or I expected. He has been the one who has been the most excited for school. He gets pretty shy around people he doesn't know but he makes friends really easily. Jaycee is just a beautiful little princess. I am sure the boys are all happy to have her in their class. haha Jaycee is a great student. Jaycee has a bunch of boys in her class from her last years class that already

So.... I guess it is just me and Ethan now. I am not sure how Ethan will cope without his brothers and sister at his beck and call. I hope he adjusts well. I know it will be fun to have him all to myself sometimes. Ethan is getting so big though. He is really hard to hold for very long because he pulls hair and kills my back. He isn't crawling yet but he has 4 teeth. I have a cute picture of them on my phone that I will have to post mobile.
