Happy 7th Birthday Jaycee!

Oh I love this little girl so much. I can't believe it has been 7 years since she was born. Time is flying by. We were just watching home videos of when she was 1. It just makes me realize how every moment counts. These little kids are growing up so fast and I want them to stay small. I love Jaycee so much. She is so much fun to go to the Theater with. She has so much personality. She is loving and sweet. I hope she has a great day today.

What is going to happen?

Today is the day we Vote and choose a new president. I am feeling a bit nervous. I know that I that all I have to do is live the gospel and everything will work out. I know hard times are part of the plan. I can't help but wonder what the journey will be like. What is the future going to bring? What is our financial situation going to be like? I just wanted to write down my thoughts today. I am not sure why but I am feeling inspired to share some thoughts I am having.

I am so grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. I am so happy to know why we are here. I have a great testimony of Joseph Smith. I know he is a true Prophet of God. I love my family so much. I am so grateful for forever families!

Things will all work out when we trust in our Heavenly Father.

Church History tour 2

I thought I'd post some pics from the bus ride. It was so much fun to hang out with Jason's family. We all rode in the back of the bus and laughed, slept, ate and visited. It really was a great time.

The people who were in charge of the tour did a great job. I was especially thankful for all the wonderful stories they told us about Joseph Smith. I enjoyed listening to so many testimonies. I loved spending this time with my husband. He and I grew together from this experience.

We had to wear these name tags or we had to "sing" a song in the front of the bus. We also had to sing a solo on the bus if we were the last ones on or late.... We never were but they did make me sing once out of the hymn book before the sacred grove.

We went to the homesite of Joseph and Emma Smith. The house isn't there anymore but it was cool to see where the house was. Across the street was Emma's family farm and down the road was a cemetary when her parents and one of their children were buried.

I thought it was neat that they had the actual gravestone put into a newer gravestone so we could see the original on the backside.

Here we are at the Susquahanna River. I don't know how to spell it but it was so cool. The spirit was so strong there. The tour lady had all the men go to one side and sing a song because we were at the exact place where the priesthood was restored. It was really special.

Grandpa shared his testimony of the Priesthood. Grandma, Holly and Jill also shared their testimonies of the Priesthood and how it has blessed their lives. There was an amazing spirit there. Jason and I really enjoyed this stop.

Halloween pictures

Halloween was lots of fun this year. Jaycee begged me to dress up with her since we were the same thing..... so I did. ha ha ha

"Watch out Sonny!!!" , Says little GrannyThis year Jaycee was soooo funny. She dressed up like a Granny. When she saw Annalee and I dress up, she tried it on and we all loved it. She was the cutest Granny. Everyone loved her costume. Kaleb was a Ghost and Jake was the DEVIL. We sprayed Jake and Kaleb's hair black. With that and the makeup, the boys were pretty ready for a bath when they got home.

Church History tour 1

Here is the first stop we made for the Church History Tour. It was the Birthplace of Joseph Smith. There weren't any original houses here, just the land. The spirit was amazing and it was beautiful. NEAT!Jason and I with Grandma and Grandpa Cox. They are the most amazing people!! I can't believe how wonderful and giving they are. They are the most Christ like people I have ever met. Then we went for a walk down the road a bit to see some other land that used to have homes on it.
