The Taffetas

Another morning at the gym and I feel so much better already. I could never do it without my friend meeting me there. That makes it so much easier. I thought I'd post some pictures of the play I did this past March. Amy Warby is who I go to the gym with and we met at the Taffetas. She was my little sister in it. I was the oldest sister even though I was the youngest one in real life. Pretty funny. I made some great friends. Amy is the blond one. I am the only one in the show that had a wig that wasn't my actual hair color. No one knew it was me. It was so much fun. I am missing it. When I went out on stage for the first time in 8 years I was overwhelmed with emotion. I felt happy and like that is where I belong. But I have grown up and I am in the real world now. This was me for so long and I have given it up for my family. I don't like to be away from my kids. It is just time consuming. When my kids get older I will probably be able to get on stage more. My daughter Jaycee went to every rehursal and every performance. She loved it so much. You should hear her sing in the shower. She is so adorable. I hope to be able to be in a play with her someday. The kids actually loved me being in the play. Like I said, Jaycee came with me and the boys loved Dad being home with them. Maybe next year. I could never do more than one a year. That is even pushing it for me. It is hard work and lots of time away from your family.

September 27,2007

I don't have much going on right now but take care of my three little stinkers. So, I want to do another post with not much to say. I will say that I did go to the gym with my friend Amy this morning at 5:30 am. I can't believe it. I am so thankful for her for going with me. This is a new start to a new life. I need to lose weight and get on stage again. Kaleb and Jaycee are watching Spongebob and I am sitting in my lovely pj's that are so comfortable but getting a little snug. Good thing for the sudden urge for the gym. I had Bunko this week in Enterprise. I have a group with my little sister Annalee. It is fun to get to know more girls. They are a lot of fun. I LOVE the weather right now. I love it when my kids jump in bed with me in the mornings and cuddle because it is a little chilly. I love this time of year. Maybe the weather change is what I need to pull myself out of this rut I am in.

Hello everyone. This is so strange when I checked my email I got two from people who just created a blog. I checked it out and loved it. I have never seen it before. I know I am so up to date with these things. I think it is a neat idea. I loved looking at all the pictures in the blog's. I saw old friends and got to hear what they are up too. I love it. Here is my first post.....

Jason and I have been married for 11 1/2 years now. The time has flown by. We have 3 beautiful children. Our oldest is Jake. He is 8 years old. He enjoys jumping on the trampoline, playing with his cousins, video games and transformers. He is a smart boy who does well in school. He is a very responsible boy. I am proud of him. Jaycee is next in line. She is 5 years old now. She is a little princess who showers Mom and Dad with lots of kisses and hugs. She loves princesses. She is a very good big sister. She plays so good with Kaleb. She is a big helper too. Kaleb, who is my baby, is 3 now. Can you believe that? He is getting so big. Kaleb loves trains and spiderman. He is a big boy for his age. He is a sweet little thing. He is very independent too. He gets that from his Dad.

Jason and I both feel so blessed to have our wonderful children in our lives. We are thankful for all our wonderful family and friends who are always there for us when we are in need. We have many things to be thankful for at this time. We love you all.
